Sometimes it is easy to get stuck into a rut and try to figure out what to have on the go with your busy schedule. So Top Knot Strong has put together 10 high protein and low-carb snacks that you and the whole family can enjoy while still reaching your goals! 

 

1. Hard Boiled Eggs

Making these can be tricky as I always mess them up and the shell never comes off with a breeze. Here is a recipe on how to make them perfect! 

 

2. Deli Meat Roll Ups

These are so simple and easy! A great snack that you can use any veggie of choice in them! 

 

3. Protein Shake

4. Protein "Frosting" with Berries

5. Canned Tuna

Honestly.... I could just eat tuna straight out of the can and not add anything into it so it's just straight protein for me. However, I know not most people are like me either. 

Sub mayo from traditional tuna salads for mustard and a little plain greek yogurt. Tastes even better and better for you too!

 

6. Cottage Cheese with Berries

 

Two ingredients and done. Nothing more simple to put together!

 

7. String Cheese

If you don't have any dairy intolerance, cheese and especially string cheese can be a winner for a snack! Low in carbs or no carbs in most brands.

 

8. Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt is a great source of protein and helps aide in digestion as well. Can be swapped out for sour cream or eaten with fruit.  

 

9. Jerky

You just have to be mindful that jerky is going to be higher in sodium, but can be a quick snack if needed and there are all different kinds!
