Recipe to make your salmon in the air fryer juicy and delicious

As mentioned this recipe is SIMPLE

We will cover how to make this and what you will need, along with different balanced meal combinations so that your possibilities are endless!

Your choice of Salmon

You can use just about any kind of salmon that you find at the store.

I used salmon with the skin still on, but you could also do this without the skin on too. It's more just personal preference.

Your salmon will need to be defrosted and room temp for best results. The size for the time and temperature used was 4 ounces each.

Ingredients

  • 4 - 4oz salmon fillets (1lb)
  • 2 Tbsp siracha
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • Spray Oil (your choice)
  • Foil to line your air fryer for easier clean up

Other options

You can use something other than the siracha to add a little bit of spiciness or just change the ratios.

If you want something a little sweeter, use 3 Tbsp honey and only 1 Tbsp siracha.

The same goes if you want to add a little bit more heat. 3 Tbsp Siracha and 1 Tbsp honey.

Putting it all together

Simple as Mix and Whisk

Add the siracha and honey to a small mixing dish and whisk it all together and set to the side.

The everything bagel seasoning is just sprinkled on top of the salmon after everything is ready in the air fryer.

Air Fryer

  1. Cover the bottom of the air fryer with a layer of foil.
  2. Spray with a light coat of oil on the foil to help keep the salmon from sticking.
  3. place salmon on top. If you have skin on your salmon, place the skin side down on the foil.
  4. Brush your glaze on top and sprinkle your desired amount of seasoning.
  5. Place in air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.

Easy and simple salmon in the air fryer

Easy to clean

After the salmon is cooked it is easy to clean your air fryer with the foil being used. Easier to take out too.

After taking the salmon out, use the foil to cover the salmon to lock the moisture in. It will help to keep it moist in addition to the glaze already used.

Making it a meal

How to make it balanced

As a rule of thumb, you try and add a green vegetable and a complex carb to keep it healthy and balanced.

This will keep your meal filling and allow your body to get the nutrients it craves to help you better stay on track with your goals.

Veggie Pairings

Different options that are great with salmon include:

  • roasted brussel sprouts
  • broccoli
  • asparagus
  • spinach
  • kale
  • cauliflower rice (if you don't want to add complex carbs)

Carb Pairings

Different options that are great with almost any veggie and protein:

  • brown rice
  • quinoa
  • couscous
  • sweet potato
  • black beans
